WHO AM I
Alex Balant is a Toronto-based freelance filmmaker who specializes in cinematography and editing.
He studied Film and Television Production at Humber College for three years, where he learned the art of visual storytelling and honed his skills in pre production, shooting and editing.
He enjoys creating cinematic and compelling stories for different genres and formats, such as documentaries, dramas, commercials, music videos, and online content.
One of his notable works is Access Granted, a short documentary about the importance of accessibility in the video game industry.

In this industry it's sink or swim and that means having a diverse set of skills is crucial to finding success. I am constantly finding new tools to immplement into my work to both serve the story being told and to ensure a smooth production.
